Musicians of Ma'alwyckis a flexible-size chamber music ensemble in residence at the Schuyler Mansion, a New York State Historic Site, and at the Schenectady County Community College, the group performs regularly on concert series in Upstate New York presenting programs specializing in the music of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries. Each season they present five subscription series concerts, in addition to performing at historic sites throughout the region.
This week they’ll present their biannual Macabre Music program which this year features the world premiere of Jeffrey Brody's Phantasmagoria. Other works on the program include "scary" pieces of Villa-Lobos, Gliere, John Williams, and more. Host of the evening will be actor Brian Massman.
