Margot Adler - Moving Toward Joy

Veteran NPR reporter Margot Adler will be at the Rowe Camp and Conference Center this weekend to present a retreat for women entitled: Moving Toward Joy.  Adler has been coming to Rowe for close to 30 years, bringing ritual, song, and laughter, a philosophy of joy even in the face of uncertainty and doubt.

She says this retreat for women will use the tools of ritual, singing, and the consciousness raising techniques of the seventies to explore unfolding new journeys.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
