Sports Report: Dallas Tops Chicago 41-28

NFL:

DeMarco Murray moved closer to a rushing title by gaining a season-high 179 and scoring a touchdown in the Dallas Cowboys' 41-28 rout of the Bears in Chicago.

On Sunday at 1 p.m. the Jets face the Vikings in Minnesota, the Giants are up against the Titans in Tennessee, then at 4:05 Buffalo will take on the Broncos in Denver, and later at 8:30 New England will play the Chargers in San Diego.

NBA:

In the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers extended their winning streak on Thursday. Kyrie Irving poured in 37 points and the Cavaliers won their fifth in a row by outlasting the Knicks 90-87 in New York. Elsewhere Portland beat Indiana 88-82, and it was Golden State over New Orleans 112-85.

NHL:

Over on the ice, the Islanders beat Ottawa 2-1, Columbus edged Florida in shootout 4-3, Tampa Bay blew out Buffalo 5-0, San Jose bested Boston 7-4, Los Angeles blanked Arizona 4-0, Calgary beat Colorado in overtime 4-3, Nashville won against St. Louis 4-3, New Jersey defeated Toronto 5-3, Detroit topped Dallas 5-2, and it was Vancouver over Pittsburgh 3-0.
