Plattsburgh’s mayor is re-imposing limits for all city government buildings and departments originally issued in March and April to stem the spread of the coronavirus.

On Monday morning, outgoing Mayor Colin Read announced that because Clinton County is seeing an acceleration of COVID-19 cases, in-person access to city departments and buildings is being limited.  “We’ve decided to put in place again the plan that we developed back in March for closing of City Hall to visitors. We’re going to encourage as best we can for them to use all the various electronic means we’ve developed in this COVID year to take care of their various needs.”

The renewed protocols are effective Tuesday morning.
