The death of a man found near a hiking trail in the Adirondacks has been ruled accidental.
On Wednesday evening New York State Police were called to Cascade Falls in Keene where a hiker had reported finding a body just off a hiking trail at the base of a nearby cliff.
The victim was identified as 23-year-old Garsevan Bekauri of Lake Placid. The preliminary investigation showed injuries consistent with a fall.
An autopsy conducted Friday determined Bekauri’s death was due to a head injury from blunt force trauma and was ruled accidental.
