Bell Made By Foundry Of Paul Revere Recovered After Fire

An historic church bell made in the Boston foundry of Paul Revere has been salvaged after a church fire in Williamstown, Vermont.

The bell was badly blackened in the fire Monday night that heavily damaged the Williamstown United Federated Church.

Stephen Morse, a church organist and historian, says it's an incredible historic artifact. NECN reports church members believe the bell can be cleaned and restored.

No one was in the church at the time of the fire.
