New York State Police in Ray Brook are investigating a drowning Saturday on Upper Saranac Lake.
State Police say 31-year-old Robert J. Call of Saranac Lake was tubing behind a watercraft  Saturday evening at about 8:15 when he went into the water.

The craft returned and people entered  the water to help with lifesaving measures as he was pulled from the water.

Additional efforts by EMS and fire personnel were unsuccessful.
