Special Brew Planned To Aid Fire Victims

Sierra Nevada Brewing

Breweries in our region are participating in a nationwide effort to support communities affected by the devastating Camp Fire in California.
The Lake Placid Brewery and Big Slide Brewery are joining a national collaboration on November 27th to brew a special batch of craft beer called Resilience Butte County Proud IPA.

The effort was started by Chico, California-based Sierra Nevada Brewing.

The recipe was developed exclusively to help the thousands of people in need. Proceeds will go to fire victims.

Chris Ericson, owner of the two Lake Placid breweries, says it will take 4 to 6 weeks before the brew will be ready to be released in late December.
