Renowned conservationist and former director of the Missouri Botanical Garden Dr. Peter Raven will speak at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake, New York, this evening.
Raven is one of the world’s leading botanists and an advocate for global biodiversity. The co-author of “Environment” will discuss how he believes we should save both the earth and ourselves during a talk at the Wild Center. “The kind of inspirational, forward looking stance that led to the creation of the Wild Center and led to the preservation of nature in a unique way in upper New York state, that kind of forward looking extended worldwide can really provide a great deal of the key for producing an adequate survival plan for all of us.”
