Authorities say several people suffered minor injuries after a commercial bus crashed and overturned during a snowstorm Monday morning in the Adirondack Mountains.
New York State Police and Essex County emergency services officials say a southbound tour bus slid off the west shoulder of State Route 28N in the town of Minerva, toppled over the guide-rail, rolled down an embankment, and came to rest on its roof against a tree.

The bus was transporting thirty-six SUNY Maritime College students who had attended a leadership retreat in Newcomb, NY back to the Bronx. Four passengers were taken to Glens Falls Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries and sixteen were treated for minor injuries.

Heavy snow was falling at the time of the crash.
