Police in Plattsburgh are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.
Shortly after 5 o’clock Monday morning Plattsburgh city police responded to a 911 call from a newspaper carrier who found a note on the door of a residence reporting a murder-suicide.
City police say 61-year old Ann Cashman was found dead from gunshot wounds in the bedroom of the home. A note led officers to the city marina where the Special Response team found 63-year old Wayne Cashman dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Cashman’s were married and living together.
Plattsburgh Police detectives are continuing their investigation.
