Nova Bus in Plattsburgh will build 300 busses for the Chicago Transit Authority.
The 148-million dollar contract announced Tuesday includes options that could add 150 busses to the contract. The vehicles will be built at Nova Bus’ manufacturing plant in the town of Plattsburgh and parts will be supplied by businesses in New York.
