One person is dead after a head-on collision on State Route 32 in the Town of New Scotland Saturday night.
The Albany County Sheriff's Office reported that 74-year-old Mark Rose of Westerlo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
His passenger, 63-year-old Linda Rose, was taken to Albany Medical Center in critical condition.
The operator of the other vehicle, a 24-year-old from Schenectady, was not injured. The sole passenger in the other vehicle, a 26-year-old from Schenectady, was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Sheriff's deputies are conducting a crash reconstruction as part of their ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is being asked to call the Albany County Sheriff's Office.
