Johnstown Mayor Discusses Business Growth

Johnstown Mayor Vern Jackson is focused on bringing business into the Fulton County city. Economic development is a central part of his 2020 vision as outlined in his State of the City address this week. Jackson, a Republican elected as mayor in 2016, told WAMC’s Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief Lucas Willard about a recent business symposium that showed a growing interest among entrepreneurs looking to Johnstown.

Lucas Willard is a news reporter and host at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, which he joined in 2011. He produces and hosts The Best of Our Knowledge and WAMC Listening Party.
