After years of debate, the historic Sherman’s amusement park on the shores of Caroga Lake in Fulton County is now officially in the hands of the Caroga Arts Collective. For the past several years the group known for its summer music series has been a growing presence in town. Sherman’s has remained mostly shuttered for years.

To learn more about the group’s plans for the property in the Southern Adirondacks, WAMC’s Lucas Willard spoke with Caroga Arts Collective Artistic and Executive Director Kyle Price.

Lucas Willard is a news reporter and host at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, which he joined in 2011. He produces and hosts The Best of Our Knowledge and WAMC Listening Party.
