SPAC Announces 2019 Jazz Festival Lineup

Saratoga Performing Arts Center has released the lineup for June’s Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival.

Legendary jazz guitarist and vocalist George Benson and fan-favorite Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will return while singer-songwriter Norah Jones will make her first appearance at the festival that runs all day on June 29th and 30th.

In addition to 11 artists on the mainstage, the event will also feature as many acts on the Charles R. Wood “Jazz Discovery” Stage.

Festival producer Danny Melnick said he’s aimed to please long-time fans and newcomers at the 42nd annual festival.

“We’re gonna go up there, we’re gonna have a great time, we’re gonna learn a lot, we’re gonna be entertained, we’re gonna see some stars, we’re gonna hear some new people.”
