A Capital Region hospital and healthcare network will remain independent after a two-year review.
Ellis Medicine, headquartered in Schenectady, announced this week that it would not seek affiliation with another heathcare network.
Mark Little, chair of Ellis Medicine's board of trustees, said the company is “clinically and financially strong.”
The company employs more than 3,300 workers.
