Albany police have released the identity of a body found Saturday morning in the Hudson River.

The body of Robert Busch, a 55-year-old Albany resident, was discovered in the river just south of the Corning Preserve on Saturday morning.

Officers who arrived at the scene say the body matched the description of a man reported missing on Sunday, May 13th. Busch had last been seen near Jennings Landing on Friday, May 11th around 1 p.m.

Busch had been staying at Capital City Rescue Mission on South Pearl Street.

Police say an investigation was conducted and that no foul play or criminal acts are suspected.
