Pair Sentenced For Roles In Fatal Boat Crash

Two passengers on the boat that collided with another vessel on Lake George, killing an 8-year-old girl in July 2016, have been sentenced.

Matthew Marry and Kristine Tiger were two of the passengers aboard the boat piloted by Alexander West, who was sentenced last year for piloting the craft that crashed into a boat carrying the family of 8-year-old Charlotte McCue.

McCue was killed and her mother was seriously injured.

According to the Post-Star, Marry and Tiger will each serve 45 days in jail and spend 3 years on probation for their roles in assisting West try to cover up the hit-and-run.

The pair pleaded guilty in November to misdemeanor hindering prosecution charges.
