The City of Troy has announced a re-development project for a downtown corner.

Troy Mayor Patrick Madden announced Wednesday a proposal to transform a property on the corner of Sixth Avenue and Congress Street into a mixed-use development.

The site was most recently home to the Capital District Educational Opportunity Center.

The so-called City Station North project would include a four-story office tower, a six-story apartment building, and a 250-space parking garage.

Developer United Group of Companies is set to present plans to the Troy Planning Commission for conceptual review on January 24th, and a full site plan review on February 28th.
