In addition to choosing their city leaders at the ballot box this November, voters in Saratoga Springs will also have the opportunity to select a new city charter. If approved by voters, a council-manager style of government would replace the current commission-style in 2020.
On the Democratic line in the race for mayor is Meg Kelly. Kelly, who currently serves as Deputy Mayor under Joanne Yepsen, who isn’t seeking a third term, explained why she is running in an interview Friday.
Kelly will face Republican Mark Baker on Election Day.
