The Healthcare Association of New York State advocates in Albany and Washington on behalf of hospitals and health care providers across the state. University of Vermont Health Network-Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital President and CEO Stephens Mundy has been named board chair of the association. It is the first time anyone from Clinton, Essex or Franklin counties in northern New York has been appointed to the position. Mundy says one of his key priorities is DSRIP, New York’s Medicaid restructuring program.
Stephens Mundy will serve as HANYS board chair for one year.
