Bedbugs Found In Saratoga Springs City Hall

wikipedia

The Times Union reports Saratoga Springs Public Works Commissioner Anthony ‘Skip’ Scirocco confirmed the presence of bedbugs after an exterminator was hired to eliminate sewer flies.

Scirocco told the newspaper that City Hall has had issues with other pests in the past including fleas and cockroaches.

The Times Union reported the story after Scirocco’s challenger in Tuesday’s general election, Democrat Bill McTygue, sent a notice to the media about the flightless insects and criticized Scirocco’s leadership. Scirocco, a Republican, said McTygue was “desperate” for making the matter a campaign issue.
