Authorities have determined the identity of a man's body that was found along the Hudson River outside Albany.

The body was found on the river's west bank Wednesday afternoon by CSX railroad employees working on a bridge near the Thruway in the town of Coeymans , just south of Albany.

The College of Saint Rose reports that the body has been identified as missing first-year student, Connor Trapatsos.   The freshman from Fairport, a Rochester suburb, was last seen on the afternoon of October 15 in nearby Selkirk.

The University at Albany Police Department will provide details concerning Connor’s death as they are confirmed by investigators.
