Governor Cuomo In Western NY To Discuss The 2014 Budget

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo will be in two western New York suburbs to discuss the state budget passed by the Legislature just before the April 1 deadline.

Cuomo plans to discuss the nearly $140 billion 2014-15 budget during an appearance late Thursday morning at the Rochester General Health System Riedman Campus in the town of Irondequoit, outside Rochester.

Afterward he'll head west to the Buffalo area, where he'll talk about the budget at a fire station on Main Street in the town of Amherst.

Lawmakers finished approving the budget late on the night of March 31. Cuomo and his cabinet have been touring the state since the budget's passage to discuss various aspects of the spending plan.
