NY Safe Act Arrest via Social Media

New York's Gun Tipline led authorities to a man who tried to sell a deadly weapon over Facebook.
Using information received via the gun tipline. New York State Police assigned an undercover investigator to answer the posting: the officer eventually met the seller and purchased the weapon. 51-year old William Greene of Moreau was charged with the misdemeanors of unlawful transfer of an assault weapon, what's described as an assault rifle with a pistol grip, and disposing of a weapon without completing a background check. Greene was issued an appearance ticket for a future court date.

Dave began his radio career as a “morning personality” at WABY in Albany.
