The Cuomo Administration is making $65,000 in state grant money available to shooting ranges across New York.  The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in cooperation with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County has developed a Shooting Range Small Grants Program.

According to the DEC website, the program will assist non-profit organizations and municipalities with improvement projects for shooting ranges and related facilities. Examples of eligible projects include, berms, shooting benches, field courses, archery range development, and upgrades to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Applications must be received by May 31.
