In Kingston, it's a four-way contest for Mayor: Conservative Richard Cahill, Republican Ron Polacco, Democrat Shayne Gallo and Independent Steve Ladin have been actively campaigning and each man believes he is best-suited for the job. Incumbent Ulster County DA Republican Holley Carnright faces a challenge from Democrat Jon Sennett.
In Dutchess County Poughkeepsie's Incumbent Republican Mayor John Tkazyik faces a challenge from Democrat Ken Levinson.
In Newburgh, Orange County, the mayoral race pits Republican Christine Bello against Democrat Judy Kennedy.
Polls open from 6am to 9pm.
