Now, a long-time critic of the NRC and Vermont Yankee cautions for civility. New England Coalition Technical Advisor Ray Shadis says he was contacted "indirectly" by NRC staff concerned about escalating abuse and violence at public meetings......
Ray Shadis says NRC staff described events where goat compost was sprinkled in their drinking water, verbal character attacks were made and items were thrown at them. Citizens' Awareness Network Executive Director Deb Katz is dubious and says NRC staffers are simply having a toddler's tantrum in response.....

The NRC is holding a public meeting Wednesday night from 6:30 until 9 at the Brattleboro Union High School regarding its annual review of Vermont Yankee.
