Albany, NY – A day off on the hardwood last night...

Tonight, the Western Conference final between the Mavericks and Thunder tips-off from Dallas. The Eastern Conference final between the Bulls and Heat picks up tomorrow. Chicago leads 1-0.

To the NHL playoffs... The Eastern Conference final between the Bruins and Lightning resumes tonight in Boston. Tampa Bay leads 1-0. The Western Conference final between the Sharks and Canucks continues tomorrow night in Vancouver. The Canucks lead 1-0.

To baseball... In Tampa Bay, Sam Fuld and B.J. Upton each slammed two-run homers as the Rays roughed up A.J. Burnett and the Yankees 6-5. New York's lost six straight.

In Boston, Adrian Gonzalez had three RBIs, including a two-run, walk-off double in the ninth, as the Red Sox dropped Baltimore 8-7. Boston climbs above .500 for the first time all season with the win.

Elsewhere, Cleveland crushed Kansas City 19-1, Toronto doubled up Detroit 4-2, Texas blanked the White Sox 4-zip, Oakland edged the Angels 5-4 in 10, and Seattle beat Minnesota 5-2.

Over to the NL... In New York, reliever Burke Badenop singled home the winning run in the 11th, as Florida felled the Mets 2-1.

Elsewhere, St. Louis got by Philadelphia 3-1, Atlanta held off Houston 3-2, Colorado dumped San Francisco 7-4, Milwaukee beat the Dodgers 2-1, Washington whipped Pittsburgh 4-2, Cincinnati downed the Cubs 7-4, and San Diego slammed Arizona 8-4.

In NFL news... The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has decided the player lockout should stay in place until a full appeal is heard on whether it's legal. The ruling means the lockout will continue until at least the first week of June and possibly much longer.

And in golf, Tiger Woods says he expects to play in the U.S. Open. Woods withdrew from The Player's Championship last week because of a leg injury.
