Albany, NY – The New York Farm Bureau is asking the U.S. Agriculture Secretary to expand a program that helps dairy farmers when the price they receive for milk drops below the cost of production. The farmer advocacy group says dairymen are facing a catastrophic milk pricing downturn. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
