Mayor Breaks Tie to Move Controversial Project Forward

Plattsburgh, NY – Vermont Developer Rick Bove wants to build a three story apartment building in downtown Plattsburgh featuring 24 workforce housing apartments and 3-thousand square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The controversial development project was approved Thursday night, when the city's mayor broke a tie vote by the Common Council. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
