Study Will Determine Feasibility of Biomass For Electric Generation in Adirondack Village

Tupper Lake, NY – For several years, officials from the Adirondack village of Tupper Lake have been working with the New York Power Authority and Niagara Mohawk, now known as National Grid, on ways to improve their power infrastructure. This week, the New York Power Authority announced that the feasibility of biomass electric generation in the Adirondacks will be studied. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
