Vermont Air Guard Schedules Night Training

The Vermont Air National Guard will conduct two weeks of night flying operations in early December.

The Vermont Air Guard is required by the U.S. Air Force to conduct night time flight training.

Beginning Tuesday, December 1, through Saturday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 8th through December 11th, F-35 and F-35A aircraft will take off between 4:30 and 6:30 and land between 6 and 8 p.m. 

Regular afternoon F-35 training flights between 12:30 and 3:30 will continue.

The Vermont Guard says all night flight trainings are scheduled to finish before 8 p.m.
