The University of Vermont Health Network will continue to postpone elective surgeries until at least May 15th.
The seven-hospital network in Vermont and northern New York extended its directive suspending elective surgeries and non-urgent procedures such as diagnostic tests or clinic visits to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Patients can consult doctors through eHealth options.
The directive complies with executive orders and social distancing advisories issued by both New York and Vermont officials.
