Vermont Governor Announces First Two COVID Related Deaths In The State

Researchers found that employing social media posts as a means of "visual nudging" to encourage safe behaviors resulted in decreased COVID-19 positivity rates of up to 25%.

Vermont Governor Phil Scott and Health Commissioner Mark Levine announced that two elderly Vermonters who tested positive for COVID-19 died on Thursday.

On Thursday evening Governor Scott announced the state's first two deaths from the coronavirus.

Health Commissioner Levine reported one individual was a male resident of Windsor County who had been hospitalized at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction. The second was a female resident of the Burlington Health and Rehab Long Term Care facility.  Levine said both were very elderly.
