Jeff Clements is the President of American Promise, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates for constitutional limits on campaign spending in the United States. He’s also the author of “Corporations Are Not People,” and a member of the Massachusetts Citizens Commission. The group was established through a ballot measure in 2018 that focuses on developing state policy around campaign finance reform and corruption. Clements and the commission will be in Pittsfield Tuesday at 6 at St. Stephen’s Parish Hall on East Street. Clements spoke with WAMC.
