Interim Bennington College President Outlines Goals

Isabel Roche is the Provost and Dean of Bennington College, but on July 1st she’ll become interim president of the private liberal arts college of about 700 students. The current president – Mariko Silver – is leaving the Bennington, Vermont school to lead the Henry Luce Foundation after six years on the job. Roche spoke with WAMC about the tumult surrounding higher education in the region, as well as what she says she’ll bring to her new role at Bennington.
