Residents of the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts will have opportunities to attend Martin Luther King Jr. Day events Monday in two of the region’s cities.
Four organizations are producing the Dr. King Day Celebration at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. The two-hour long program includes local gospel choirs, and over 500 Springfield school children participating in music, dance, and dramatic performances.
In Northampton, the Resistance Center for Peace and Justice has announced details for the 35th annual MLK Day Celebration.
