The western Massachusetts branch of the American Friends Service Committee is no more. But, the pacifist activism that its members espoused for nearly a half century continues through a new organization: The Resistance Center for Peace and Justice.
The Northampton-based nonprofit is headed by Jeff Napolitano, the past director of the American Friends Service Committee of Western Massachusetts.
