Annual First Night Festival Is Set In Northampton

Final preparations are underway for one of the area’s signature annual events – First Night Northampton.

This year will the 34th edition of the city-wide New Year’s Eve party.  It is a 12-hour-long family-friendly festival with all proceeds benefiting community arts.

To get some details about this year’s First Night, WAMC’s Pioneer Valley Bureau Chief Paul Tuthill spoke with Steve Sanderson, events producer for the Northampton Arts Council.
