A fourth Democrat has entered Vermont’s race for governor this year.  Brenda Siegel is the executive director of the Vermont Dance Festival in Brattleboro. She is a delegate to the Windham County Democratic Committee and the vice chair of the Newfane Democratic Committee.  Siegel says she is running because people like her are not represented in government.
“I really want to see regular everyday people have a voice and I really believe that our government was designed for that. And so though we’ve a little bit moved away from that system I think we can move back to it.”

Other Democrats running in the August 14th primary include James Ehlers, Christine Hallquist and Ethan Sonneborn.  On the Republican side, Keith Stern is challenging first-term incumbent Governor Phil Scott.
