Alford Recieves State Funds For Broadband Internet

Alford, Massachusetts is receiving $480,000 from the state for high-speed broadband internet. 

Alford is the latest “Last Mile” town to receive a state grant to connect residents and businesses to high-speed broadband internet.

The program has awarded more than $16.5 million to 19 towns in Western Massachusetts.

The $480,000 grant, paired with town funding, is expected to cover roughly 350 users in Alford.
