A second foreclosure auction has been scheduled for the complex housing the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Pittsfield. Its first buyers backed out of the deal last month.
New York City-based Ladder Capital Finance bought the 14-floor, 179-room hotel for nearly $4 million, but backed out of the sale.
Now the auctioneers are requiring a $200,000 non-refundable deposit, instead of the $100,000 previously needed, along with other conditions.
The auction is at 11 a.m. on April 26th at the hotel.
