Members of the Vermont Air National Guard are leaving Wednesday for an overseas deployment.
The members of the 158th Fighter Wing will be in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, which covers the Middle East, North Africa and central Asia. Their exact location has not been disclosed.
The Guard says a few hundred airman and their families are gathering at the base Wednesday and the Air Guard members are expected to depart early Wednesday evening.
