The Pride Center of Vermont is organizing a march and vigil in Burlington to honor the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.
The Pride Center of Vermont calls the largest mass shooting in the nation’s history a painful reminder of continuing hate and bias. Director Kim Fountain says the day “…will be forever etched in our communities’ history as a day of extraordinary grief.”
The group is organizing a march this evening beginning at 6 p.m. at the First Unitarian Church in downtown Burlington. People will walk down Church Street to City Hall Park where a vigil will be held.
