Massachusetts is moving to shut down Eagleton School in Great Barrington citing ‘systemic’ abuse.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that the state Department of Early Education and Care said despite sanctions imposed last month due to allegations of abuse, monitors have noted several instances of noncompliance. The department is moving to revoke Eagleton’s group care licenses and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has already withdrawn its approval of its special education license.
