Voters in Lanesborough, Massachusetts are heading to the ballot box Tuesday to decide on a $65 million school renovation project.Earlier this month, Williamstown voters overwhelmingly approved excluding the town’s share of the Mount Greylock Regional School renovation cost from the levy limit. Lanesborough residents face the same decision. Citing earlier tax increases, Kevin Young spoke against the project’s financial impact during a public meeting last month.

“I just don’t want to see another school built that is going to raise my taxes as high as they did in that 10-year period,” said Young.

The annual tax impact based on the average Lanesborough home valued at $217,000 would be between $353 and $393. Polls are open at Lanesborough Town Hall from 10 to 8 p.m.
