North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright

North Adams Mayor Richard Alcombright will enter his fourth term in January after beating former Mayor John Barrett earlier this month. It was a contentious election that reignited the divide between the contenders and their supporters. In part one of a two-part interview, WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief Jim Levulis spoke with Alcombright about his top priorities for the next two years.

In the second part of the interview airing, Alcombright talks about how he sees North Adams becoming a destination city.
