Downtown Pittsfield Farmers Market To Run Through Winter

Facebook: Downtown Pittsfield Farmers Market

The Downtown Pittsfield Farmers Market is extending into the winter, making it the only year-round market in Berkshire County. After three years of operating during the warmest months, market organizers have decided to take the event inside from November until April. Every second Saturday of each month, some 20 vendors will set up inside the Lighthouse at the Pittsfield Boys and Girls Club. Market Manager Jess Conzo says what draws people in is more than just the products.

“We are definitely going to continue to have live music every market,” Conzo said. “We’ll have workshops, demonstrations and activities every month as well.”

The first indoor winter market is this Saturday from 9 to 1.
